 WHO IS DRIVING YOUR BUS?

I hesitate to describe manifestation in a lot of detail because one individual or group will follow the rules explicitly, but then someone else will do everything “technically wrong” and succeed dramatically. The reason generally is passion – the one rebel fills their intention with their passionate drive and any road blocks that come up are bulldozed through.

The reason for presenting the rules is basically the same as the answer to “who is driving your bus?” In other words, many people do the easy and comfortable thing; they catch the same buses everyday and let a professional driver take them to their intended destination. The destination is someone else’s manifestation – you go to a place of work, a school or university, a restaurant or a happy hour bar, a place of entertainment, etc., and you passively participate in the entrepreneur’s manifestation. I know you want to challenge this scenario and tell everyone about how hard you work at your job or how hard you play at your favorite hobby or softball game, but it is still someone else’s manifestation and you are just one of the rider’s on their bus.

 MANIFESTATION 101

The Five Rules of Manifestation (the Law of Attraction):

  1. See it in your head
  2. Believe it in your heart
  3. Feel it in your soul
  4. Expect opportunity to show up
  5. ACT  (see Part 2. Twenty-five Actions)

Part 1.  Expansion of the Rules of Manifestation 101 (the Law of Attraction):

Rule 1. See it in your head (visualize the item you want - your INTENTION is focused by your brain and mental body).  If you cannot see yourself with or having your desire, it cannot manifest.  Visualize!!!

Rule 2. Believe it in your heart (use your emotions to energize it – focus your emotional body). For example, go a couple of days without eating anything; then think of a food item you would like to sink your teeth into – that is what energizing it feels like.

Rule 3. Feel it in your soul (meditate on your Higher Self – being congruent with your spiritual body). For example, if you want a lot of money – you could get it by saving, investing, getting a good education or obtaining a high paying job, you could win the lottery, etc.: OR, you could get it by robbing a bank. Keep in mind though that most people, even the really poor, cannot rob or kill for money because it goes against the inhibitor part of their mind and their beliefs in human life (God).  Meditate and get in touch with your personal guidance!

Rule 4. Expect opportunity to show up (bring your physical body into alignment). Get up and get moving – make a plan of action that vibrates to your desire.  If you want more money, start saving money, even if it is only a nickel a day.  For example, one of the illogical statements in the Bible is that all good things come to those who wait. But, in fact, what really happens is that if you are a couch potato that sits in front of a television or computer all day, you will most likely just get fat.  If you sit in your house all day waiting for Mr./Miss Right to knock at the door, you may find yourself alone and regretting the time lost.  Create a plan, adopt a new paradigm, and put it into action!

NOTE:  This is a great time/opportunity to consciously tap into your JAR.   The reason for this is to examine your rules/beliefs about what it is you desire to manifest.  For example, if you want to manifest a great amount of money and the rules/beliefs in your jar say that “money is the root of all evil,” or “there is never enough money,” or “money brings trouble,” or “…;” you may find out that you cannot manifest the money or, if it manifests, it may go away as fast as you created it because your jar’s rules/beliefs will greatly influence your manifestation.  Another example would be that of wanting to manifest a significant other – if you examine your jar and see that you believe that relationships don’t last or that you cannot trust another individual; you will probably create a relationship that betrays you and/or does not last.  Know what is in your jar and create a new paradigm; for instance in the case of money, your new paradigm could be that “money flows freely to you and is beneficial to you and your lifestyle.”  In the case of relationships, your new paradigm could be that “relationships are healthy and beneficial to all parties involved.”  AND, of course, always add to whatever you are desiring to manifest that it is “manifest for the good of all concerned.”  Remember that the foundation to all that you desire to attract/manifest (the Law of Attraction) is built upon the rules/beliefs you have in your JAR.  If they weaken you, the foundation of what you manifest will be weak.

Rule 5. ACT (the longest journey starts with your first step – put your four bodies (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual) into a state of action – e.g., if you want a new luxury vehicle, pick the specific model with applicable accessories on the Internet, look through automotive magazines and look around you when you are out on errands, create a collage of pictures and/or words that relate to your choice, etc.

Can you manifest on your job? So, okay, you have a job in an organization that provides plenty of opportunities for manifestation.  The famous example is the company Google.  It encourages employees to be creative (manifest) and seek out new business opportunities – Google also has a great environment that encourages creativity, such as, a free cafeteria, free massages, and various play areas for spontaneous games, etc. Google even allows their employees to go off on tangential searches for products or services that do not fit into the Google mission. That is, you can work for Google and start your own business and you can remain employed by Google as long as you put the majority of your efforts into areas of interest to Google. That seems very fair!

But the majority of companies want you to be at your designated job location and working on your designated job (the box on the organizational chart).

So, the rules of manifestation are there to help the people who do not work for such a creative and generous organization, but feel deeply that life is more than this surface, earning a paycheck.

NOTE: Can a company that is totally formalized with a designated job organization be successful? Yes! Go to a Walmart Store or a Division of Motor Vehicles.

Rule 1. See It in Your Head (visualize the item you want - your INTENTION is focused by your mental body).

You may be great at visualizing your needs, wants, and desires; but do you follow up on them.

A tangential observation: A youngster (age 1 to 7) is often great at Imagineering (a term used by Walt Disney Company). “How so?” you ask! Well a youngster gets a present (Christmas, birthday, or whatever) in a big box. The present is expensive and the latest hottest child’s toy as determined by one of the big toy companies and television advertising. It is a beautiful toy and perfectly safe with no small parts to swallow. The child opens the present and throws the toy to the side and plays with the box for the next several hours – even days. The child has Imagineered a castle or a fort or a Hummer vehicle, etc. The same child can play with a broom stick or just a long-stick found in the yard for hours because they can visualize it as whatever they want it to be.

The Disney term Imagineering is a combination of imagination and engineer; the child does the imagination part extremely well, but not the engineering part.

Well, most adults don’t quite have the child’s innocence or ability to visualize, but the adult will create a perfect vacation or a perfect retirement or a perfect home workshop, etc., and never get around to setting it into action. Well that actually is okay, but if you take the same mental power and follow the steps of manifestation (the Law of Attraction) and then follow through on the next stage of manifestation and then the next, until it is an actual fact – you have Imagineered a successful item.

A lot of people get an idea for a small improvement in an item, but they don’t continue their efforts – the next steps of manifestation. If you ask them, they will tell you many reasons why, but basically there is one – fear of failure (rejection). Or, they think a successful item has to be dramatically new; however, let’s examine “reverse engineering” in the case of an automobile – over the years, there have been a lot of modifications to the automobile, but most have been done incrementally. For example, the first automobiles had no windshield, or windshield wipers, and then along came the automatic wipers. The first automobiles had rubber tires, but of such poor construction that a blowout at any speed above 25 mph meant a terrible accident; and don’t even mention the windshield made out of fragile glass. Okay, so you’re not an automotive engineer; well, just look around your residence and you could see that a lot of the simple conveniences you enjoy were thought created by regular people; e.g., the dust mop, which has been incrementally improved.

Rule 2: Believe It in Your Heart

I’m going to leave much of this step to your own Imagineering.

Imagine you are seven years old and have been assigned a school project. The teacher is unusual in that she believes in her students, so she has assigned a couple of exercises.

The student’s assignment is to look around their home and find at least three things that can be made more fun or attractive. In this initial exercise it doesn’t even need to be something original; for example, the student sees someone get up and let the dog out twice a day; so he/she comes up with the idea of a dog-door. Or, the seven year old is constantly told to pick up his toys and clothes, but it is tedious and boring and has to be done every day. So, he comes up with a warrior game that requires him to find three items he can use to defeat gremlins; as a result, his room is straightened out each day as he looks for the necessary weapons to fight the good fight. Now remember the trick is that the youngster has to believe it in his heart – and youngsters have that ability.

Learn to look at your needs, wants and desires like a youngster. Open your heart!

Rule 3: Feel It in Your Soul

The fact is almost everyone has some aspect of their life that they feel deep in their soul – the trick is to take that feeling and use it to paint the need, want or desire that you are interested in.

Hopefully, you have something that you feel deeply in your soul. For me, it is my hobby - I collect dragons.

Taking a side-step, let me ask if you have an automobile? Without going outside to actually look at it; can you tell me what color that car is; is it a convertible or a sedan; is it clean right now or dirty – how dirty; etc.? Is your visualization of your car a full size picture with background surroundings; or is it a 4x4 small framed picture of your car? Is it in full color or a flat indistinguishable color? The parameters you describe for your car are deeply embedded in your soul. I know you can go out and buy a new car and forget about the one you currently have, but you will take a long time to fully erase your present car – even if you hate it now because of mechanical problems or because it seems ugly.

So, now do the same parameter search for something you really love. It can be your spouse, your hobby, your church, your ability to prepare gourmet meals – you choose. The parameters you listed are your spring-board to manifestation – as an exercise, let me suggest that you build a dog house (you don’t even have to have a dog). You have the basic design of a dog-house or you can get one off the Internet; now take the various parameters of your favorite thing and start seeing the dog-house the same way. The stronger your parameters, the more compelling the new item you are creating will be.

Now the hard step – do the seven year old youngster’s exercise – look around your house, at your hobby, or at your job, and look for three things that can be improved. After you find three items, evaluate your focus – honestly – and pick one to be your trial innovation. Start by visualizing it and adding the parameters you found important to you.

Rule 4. Expect Opportunity to Show Up

This actually requires you to put yourself out there.

Develop an elevator presentation – the elevator presentation has to be short, even in a 22-story building – it only takes about 90 seconds for the elevator to go from the bottom floor to the top floor. You want your presentation to catch the attention of the person you are pitching the idea to.

Seek out interested parties. You may need to look up some people’s names who would be interested – or you could audition for one of the reality shows. (I like the Pitch.)

Oh, and don’t forget to keep your eyes open because a number of times, an opportunity just pops up. Sort of the same thing as when you buy a new vehicle that you thought was unique and then you notice the same make and model everywhere.

GO FOR THE GOLD RING (WEALTH)

Rule 5.  ACT

You now have the tools for manifesting all sorts of useful things and ideas; the final step is TO ACT.  This step is described in Part 2 with 25 useful actions. However, there is another area that people are often interested in involving metaphysical uses of manifestation (the Law of Attraction); that is, for financial wealth.

You do the same steps described above, but you focus your intention on financial wealth.

IMAGINEER!

Approach 1. VISUALIZE a receipt of unsolicited mail coming through the Post Office system. In this first envelope, visualize a check for a sum of money; see it clearly using the parameters you worked up for something you really love. See the visualized envelope as having a window because that is usually how a business would post-it. FEEL the envelope as you pick it up from your mailbox or from the floor if you have an in-door mail slot. You don’t recognize the name of the company on the return address area of the envelope. And as you visualize yourself opening the envelope, see the hard cardboard type of check that a business would use. The stronger you see it and accept it in your heart – the better the results will be.

NOTE: When I say visualize an envelope with a check – that translates to receiving notices of things of financial value. For example, I was out for breakfast and one of the diners was talking about the coin collection his grandfather had left him. He did not know how to sell these coins – I offered some advice about a couple of coin dealers and he asked if I were interested in buying the coins. I told him he would get a better price if he took them to a dealer, but that I was interested if he was willing to sell them at bullion rates (weight of the precious metal). He didn’t want to bother with a dealer for several reasons as he only had 48 coins – so he sold them to me. Let me add that the price of the precious metals was quite reasonable at the time and that was lucky for me since the price of these precious metals went up 30% in just over a month. Also, I have hit a sweepstakes and received a sculpture worth about $900.00; and several other items of nominal value. A check for $1.50 – I accept the offering of the Law of Attraction no matter how small; and I received a $25.00 debit card. I also received a Wok cooker from a company that said I had been entered in their sweepstakes – I had never heard of the company. These are just a few of the items that I have received.

Approach 2. Sit down in a quiet place, take several deep and rhythmic breaths and visualize a lottery ticket. Look closely at the numbers on the lottery ticket – see the number highlighted in pale green or gold; you will need some regular paper to capture the numbers you visualize on your ticket. So write the numbers down and notice the date of the lottery. (NOTE:  You want both the numbers and the date of the lottery or you could invest a lot of money on the wrong tickets.) You now need to buy a lottery ticket.

CAVEAT: I don’t want to discourage you, but the lottery is one of the hardest manifestations you will do – that’s because there are hundreds or thousands of metaphysicians putting their full heart’s passion into winning. This is one of the reasons I focus my manifestation intentions on creating useful items that can be marketed. Let me point out that my feeling (my JAR) about competition with other metaphysicians doesn’t mean you should give up – so go for it; after all the return on your investment (price of a lottery ticket) could be fantastic.

NOTE: I also participate in a Full Moon meditation group; one of the ladies in this group topped me for receipts – she got three televisions in one year, a refrigerator and several fully paid for trips.   CAVEAT:  She, also, won $10,000.00 in one lottery and has received significant sums of money in several others. However, I know she buys a lot more lottery tickets than I would; so I don’t know what her return is on her purchases. I don’t ask!

I often manifest an item that is of no benefit to me so I donate it to my favorite charity. For example, who needs three brand new televisions? I have at least two other rules about manifestation: (1) it’s fun to share with others and it acts as a primer for greater manifestations (like priming a well – though you are probably not old enough to remember well-water); and (2) don’t be a hoarder – or as my old boss liked to say, “A cluttered office is like a cluttered mind.” Then there is the third rule: I always ask that everything be for the good of all!

The following is a meditation of protection that I use whenever I focus on manifestation:

Close your eyes and calmly affirm…

I am completely surrounded, permeated, and cleansed with white, blue, and silver energies.  Only truth and good, love and light can come to me, go from me, come through me, or stay with me. All that touches me and all that I share with others is for my good and the good of all concerned.
I Am Peace; I Am Light; I Am Love.
