You have the ability to change your past – your history. I can guarantee you have already reprogrammed some experiences in your past-life history and removed some undesirable or desirable states associated with various experiences. Then there are the past-life experiences that were reprogrammed by someone else – a parent, a teacher, a religious leader, a grandparent, etc.

See the section, examples of unconscious reprogramming of a past-life experience if you need some examples of programming and reprogramming.

By learning how to change your personal history in meditation (altered state of consciousness), you will receive two benefits: (1) self-respect and (2) the ability to block other people from programming you.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR HISTORY – for best results, read through the entire document before doing the exercise.

Identify a steppingstone scenario from your distant past that you want to change to a more desirable state – that is, a state of wonder, pleasure and positive learning, or, if you choose, a state of calmness.

The desirable states of wonder or calmness used here are not the only possibilities - you have the opportunity to decide what you want in your desired state.

Imagine that you can see the timeline of your life. Off to the left is your past history – off to your right are your future experiences (history before it happens).

Imagine that you can travel on a light beam on your timeline path; you can travel into your past or into the future.

Imagine that there are four (4) energies that create your Earth-plane existence and these four energies are able to split apart (your existence consists of four bodies – your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies). When you split the four energies, you are in effect creating four avatars or models of yourself; but each one only receives your life experience programming limited to that one area.

Your physical body keeps you anchored or incarnated in your current lifetime.

Your emotional body is also keeping you anchored in your current lifetime; the emotional body is how you emotionally experience your earthly life experiences – your feelings. I feel hungry. I feel tired. This was the worst time of my life. This was the most glorious time of my life, etc.

Your mental body is analytical and observes any scenario as if it were a movie on a theater screen. When you travel in your mental body, your emotional body recognizes the scene; however, it is like seeing some famous actor just following a movie script that you relate to.   And you know that once the movie is turned off, you will go about your present day life knowing you successfully lived and learned from a similar experience. When you use just your mental avatar, it is a disassociated observer. Disassociated means the mental avatar does not feel any pain or anger or joy or, to put it another way, the mental avatar/energy is coldhearted.

Your spiritual body (the flame of your soul-light or energy) is the real part of you – it continues to exist even after the death of your physical, mental, and emotional bodies. Your spiritual body provides the communication channel to the “Universal Knowledge of the All-Knowing” regarding your purpose for incarnating in this present life time. Your spiritual body may provide steppingstones in your current incarnation that are very difficult to experience or it may provide generous amounts of pleasurable experiences – the big spiritual plan is for you to learn certain things. While every soul or spirit is perfect; there are ones that are still learning or, to use a metaphor – you are here to earn your wings and some experiences are here to test your growth. Your spiritual body can connect you to the Universal Light of God – the Universal Consciousness - by asking for help, you will receive it. However, you have free choice as long as you are incarnated in a physical, emotional, and mental shell on the earth-plane. That means the Universal Consciousness offers the gift of help, but you can choose not to accept it or not.

Visualize all four bodies of your existence as stepping off your timeline so you can see the length of the past history off to your left – the present time – and your future stretching out to the right for many years.

As you look into your past history, your emotional body picks an important steppingstone that occurred in your past-life history. Just ride your mental body on the light-beam back to the past-history experience that has drawn your attention. Let the steppingstone trigger your memory of the experience.

You are leaving your physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies in the present for now. By leaving your emotional body in the present, it allows your mental body to be a disassociated observer – that means if there are any unpleasant or negative emotions involved in the steppingstone, you do not have to feel them.

The remembered experience may not be in the same context as your present interpretation of the experience. That’s because you have unconsciously reprogrammed a number of your past-life experiences.

When your mental body gets to this steppingstone location, be sure to determine the specifics involved.  Here are a few questions to help focus your experience.

·         Where are you?

·         How old are you?

·         Are you with other people (who)?

·         What are you doing?

·         Is it a photograph or a moving picture? What colors do you see in the picture – are they dark and calming or bright and pleasurable? How do you feel – angry, frustrated, sad, calm, peaceful, joyful, or pleasurable beyond words?

·         IF YOU see that past-life experience as a photograph, in your imagination change it to a motion picture in full-colors.

·         Return your mental body to the present time. In the years since that steppingstone occurred, what have you learned that you didn’t know when you were that age in your past?

·         What do you know now that you needed then in order to benefit from that experience?

·         In your imagination what changes do you make to the past experience that would make it a more desirable state?

·         Go back to that past-time experience – this time you are traveling with both your mental body and your spiritual body.

·         Give that younger self the resources needed that you didn’t have at that past-time. Imagine your spiritual self as the director of your experiences in that past life movie.

·         Return to present age. Imagine the mental and spiritual bodies reintegrating with your emotional and physical bodies as they step back on the timeline path in the current day. All four bodies merge and integrate everything from that new desirable steppingstone experience.

·         Again, visualize the four energies of your existence stepping off the timeline and separating into four separate images of yourself (four avatars or models of yourself).

·         This time your mental avatar will be traveling on the timeline in your future. Your mental avatar will carry the new desired wisdom created to the future stages of your life.  Is there a time in the future that you expect the new history to benefit you? Imagine traveling in your mental body on the future timeline with the newly redesigned steppingstone from your past and observe how it benefits you in the future.  Is the future brighter or more glorious or benefited from your new history? If it is and is what you want; then return to the present day. Then step off the timeline and integrate and merge with your physical, emotional and spiritual avatars into one.

·         You have a choice; you can let the entire change history cool off and end right here or you can step back on the timeline with all four bodies and travel up your future timeline to the very end of your earth-plane existence, all the while integrating the new desirable steppingstone history into your future life.

·         Then the next stage is to return your fully integrated four bodies (avatars) back to the present day with all the resources incorporated into your history’s timeline – you have integrated all four avatars into one single body. You will remain on your timeline with this fully integrated desirable state as part of you.

·         The final step is to have the fully integrated bodies ride the light-beam as far into your past as possible. Then you ride the light-beam as far as possible into the future. Repeat this ride about six times – this will fully integrate it into your timeline and your unconscious programming.

NOTE: You do have another choice. If you did not get what you wanted on the steppingstone experience to the past on your timeline; you can repeat the trip to another steppingstone. On a second or third trip to your past, ask your spiritual body to select an experience for you to travel back to and incorporate the desired state or outcome.  The difference is that the first time you travelled as your “Mental Avatar” on that trip; and on this trip, you are traveling as your “spiritual avatar.”

If you choose to travel as a spiritual avatar, you may be taken to several steppingstones for the change history reprogramming – this is a more difficult travelling experience than going to one steppingstone; so it is highly recommended (by me) that your first timeline trip be with a mental avatar.

Also, your spiritual avatar may pick steppingstones that you don’t even consciously remember. Humans often bury past experiences in their unconscious (JARs). It may be that your mental and emotional bodies feel they need to protect your ego by covering up some steppingstones or making the images so dark that they are invisible to your conscious mind.

EXAMPLES OF UNCONSCIOUS REPROGRAMMING OF A PAST LIFE EXPERIENCE

It may be that you have already reprogrammed your past-life history and removed some undesirable or desirable state associated with the experience.   Let’s look at a few examples.

First example, a divorced woman, who remained married for 22 years with three wonderful children states, “I was married to the miserable jerk, but he was a jerk from the very day we married.” But being a detective or nosey person, you check with the three children and several people that know both ex-spouses. Everyone else describes the “jerk” as kind, considerate, compassionate, and generous; and knows that she divorced him when he lost control of his life to drugs. And, he only started taking illegal drugs the last couple of years of their marriage. The fact is she divorced him because his drugged behavior was destroying the children, her trust in others, and her very being. But on an emotional level, she feels guilty for not being a good Christian and sticking with him no matter how bad it got; therefore, feeling she deserted her husband in his time of need. So she protects herself by reprogramming their entire married history and puts the 18 good to excellent years in a shadowy almost forgotten box of memories.

Second example, John goes back to a steppingstone involving high school; the focus is on a bully (student or teacher) who picked on him several times.  John forgets that he only dealt with the bully in the 10th grade and by the 11th grade, John had grown five inches taller and had put on 30 pounds of muscle; so the bully no longer bothered him. Or, let’s say it was a bully teacher - John graduated to the 10th grade and the teacher could not reach 11th graders.  Today John programs his entire high school experience as one of misery and aggravation; so 22 years later, he now refuses to take any classes that could improve his chances for a promotion or even to learn something he really wants to know.

Third example, sometime in the past Sue sat down with her mother and started looking through an old album of pictures. Sue’s mother reminisces about several pictures of Sue’s very early years; she tells Sue stories of how kind neighbors would watch over her and acted like loving grandparents. In reality, Sue’s father paid the neighbors quite well to keep Sue for a few hours each week; and then they complained to her father that she was a mean and stupid kid. The whole time, Sue was with the neighbors, they would restrict her to one room, would not let her play any fun games, and fed her brussel sprouts, kale, and stale bread – foods Sue hated. The first time Sue tried to tell her mother that she “hated” the neighbors; she didn’t believe Sue and adamantly said that Jesus Christ would punish her for telling mean lies about them. So Sue learned very quickly not to say anything critical about the image of the gray-haired grandparent neighbors. And before long she started believing her mother’s version of these neighbors and even started telling her father how wonderful these two curmudgeon neighbors were to her. But today when Sue meets someone with gray-hair that unconsciously reminds her of the two curmudgeon grandparent types, she feels an instant distrust and dislike; but does not consciously know why.

Fourth example, in the first grade Teddy meets this kindred soul and the two have remained friends ever since.  Teddy trusts him with anything he owns and always sees him as fair and kind to everyone. But in reality, he borrows Teddy’s car and returns it with no gasoline; he took Teddy’s girlfriend out on a date behind Teddy’s back; he borrows money and does not pay it back. He has been married, but his wife divorced him for being physically abusive; she had to take out a restraining order to keep him from stalking her. He delays child support payments and seldom even entertains his children. But Teddy has programmed his mental and emotional bodies to overlook any of his friend’s faults; so much so, that Teddy is willing to write letters of commendation for his friend when he is applying for a new job.  Teddy loans him his car even though he knows he lost his license for driving under the influence of alcohol. And, when Teddy’s wife starts to say anything about his friend’s bad behavior and what a bad influence he is on Teddy; Teddy gets into a fight with her.   Back to text.

IN SUMMARY – this is a recap of the steps involved in the Change History exercise.

Step 1: Identify a steppingstone scenario from your distant past that you want to change to a more desirable state – that is a state of wonder, pleasure and positive learning or if you choose a state of calmness.

Step 2: Imagine that you can see the timeline of your life. Off to the left is your past history – off to your right are your future experiences (history before it happens).

Step 3: Imagine that there are four (4) energies that create your Earth-plane existence and these four energies are able to split apart (your existence consists of four bodies – your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies). When you split the four energies, you are in effect creating four avatars or models of yourself, but each one only receives your life experience programming limited to that one area.

Step 4: Visualize all four bodies of your existence as stepping off your timeline so you can see the length of the past history off to your left – the present time – and your future stretching out to the right for many years.

Step 5: As you look into your past history, your emotional body picks an important steppingstone that occurred in your past-life history. Just ride your mental body on the light-beam back to the past-history experience that has drawn your attention. Let the steppingstone trigger your memory of the experience.

Step 6: When your mental body gets to this steppingstone location, be sure to determine the specifics. Here are a few questions to help you focus. Where are you? How old are you? Are you with other people (who)? What are you doing?

Step 7: Go back to that past-time experience – this time you are traveling with both your mental body and your spiritual body.   Give that younger self the resources needed that he/she didn’t have at that past-time. Imagine your spiritual self as the director of your experiences in that past life movie.

Step 8: Return to present age. Imagine the mental and spiritual bodies reintegrating with your emotional and physical bodies as they step back on the timeline path in the current day. All four bodies merge and integrate everything from that new desirable steppingstone experience.

Step 9: Visualize the four energies of your existence stepping off the timeline and separating into four separate images of yourself (four avatars or models of yourself).

Step 10: This time your mental avatar will be traveling on the timeline in your future. Your mental avatar will carry the new desired wisdom created to the future stages of your life.

Step 11: Then the next stage is to return your fully integrated four bodies (avatars) back to the present day with all the resources incorporated into your history’s timeline – you have to integrate all four avatars into one single body. You will remain on your timeline with this fully integrated desirable state as part of you.

Step 12: The final step is to have the fully integrated bodies ride the light-beam as far into your past as possible. Then you ride the light-beam as far as possible into the future. Repeat this ride about six times – this will fully integrate it into your timeline and your unconscious programming.

Step 13: Keep a journal of your reprogramming experiences. Keeping a written record will allow you to learn even more about reprogramming or changing your history.
