HEALING AND HEALING ENERGY

People who regularly meditate often find that their physical and mental health improves. This posting is not going to cover the various scientific or anecdotal reports on the improvements to the practitioner’s health; you can go to a bookstore or on-line and find plenty of relevant information and counter-arguments.  That said, this posting is about how you can share the gift of metaphysical or psychic healing with someone in need.

 

There are several things that go into healing; but not all of them may be necessary for the person with whom you wish to share the gift of healing.

 

CAVEAT regarding your health and/or anyone else’s health: we firmly believe that individuals should be visiting qualified medical doctors and specialists and following their advice or prescriptions; and, as necessary, getting a second opinion from another qualified doctor.

 

This information and exercises presented are not intended to replace a medical doctor’s advice and treatment program.  

 

The following information is provided as an adjunct to a medical doctor’s treatment program; and, if practiced regularly, could be used as a preventative measure and/or a boost to the individual who is healthy. 

 

HEALING AND HEALING ENERGY

This posting is not going to cover the various scientific or anecdotal reports on the improvements to the practitioner’s health; you can go to a bookstore or on-line and find plenty of relevant information and counter-arguments.  That said, this posting is about how you can share the gift of metaphysical or psychic healing with someone in need.

 

There are several things that go into healing; but not all of them may be necessary for the person with whom you wish to share the gift of healing.

 

TOUCH: It is well known that touch is valued and that a person who is touched feels better and valued. Living in isolation can be destructive. The mother’s kiss on a child’s boo-boo was often enough to calm the child and that stopped the pain. When you have less pain, you heal faster. Pain is a signal and after you have dealt with the pain – that is acknowledged the pain – it is time to let the pain go.

 

A popular method of healing is massage – there are many varieties of massage. One that massages the aura is Reiki; it basically does not include touching the client’s skin. [NOTE: I am not endorsing Reiki over acupuncture or deep muscle, etc., as each method has its own merits; but I am using Reiki as an example of healing that does not require the healer to physically touch the client to provide healing energy.]  The qualified Reiki healer channels universal healing energy through themselves and into the client. It involves a process of balancing the client’s energies. The non-touch Reiki approach is useful to psychic healers in that we do not need to lay our hands directly on the subject to provide the gift of healing energy.

 

DISTANCE: The person receiving the healing can be in a chair in front of you or reclining on a couch that is 20 feet away in another part of the room. In fact the client (or friend) can be in another house miles away.  The psychic healer can be in a city on the East Coast and the person in need of healing can be on a ranch on the West Coast; or even deep in a cave on another continent. Psychic healing is not controlled by distance because it is sent as “light force energy.”  Light travels at the speed of light; so healing energy travels at the speed of light.

 

CHANNELING: The psychic healer is channeling universal healing energy through their spirit-being and sending it to the client (subject of the needed healing) as a gift.

To be clear, the healer is channeling universal healing energy. As a healer, you are not using your own personal energy. [NOTE:  Some healers do use their own energy and, sadly, they often wind up feeling exhausted, or worse, getting the symptoms or even the illness or health problem of the intended client; or do long term damage to their own health.]

 

As part of the healing session, you imagine and visualize that you are channeling universal healing energy through a special part of you, which is your spirit-being, and when the healing session is finished, you release the universal healing energy, the client and the client’s situation.

 

The special part of your spirit-being is always with you and it is at one with God or, if you prefer, with the Higher Powers of the Universe. Your spirit-being (or Soul) is wise and virtuous and came from the larger source of universal life and will remain after your physical body is released from this earth. Your spirit-being is available to you for many services to others and, yes, to help you; but, in this case, we are focused on healing others. So by channeling the healing source through your spirit-being, you are protecting your earth-plane physical and mental bodies.

 

The next part is probably the hardest for many psychic healers to accept. When a psychic healer offers healing to another, it is an offer of a GIFT. Why is that so hard? Because, when you give someone a psychic gift, or any gift for that matter, they can toss it in a closet and never use it or they can continue with their negative ways and self-destruct. It is also possible that the client owes a karmic debt and the current illness or injury is the payment for that karmic debt (it would require a past-life reading to determine the source or sources of such karmic debts).  So as a potential gift giver, you must offer it and RELEASE it without an attachment to how it is used or to the outcome.

 

SITUATIONAL NEGATIVITY: The client may not be the source of the health problem. It could be that they are involved in a negative situation and they are just reflecting that situation. There are many examples of negative situations that can be draining a person’s health; such as, working for a toxic company, living with an alcoholic or drug addict, being in a miserable marriage, living with a schizophrenic or clinically depressed person, etc. The approach for healing the situation is the same as the approach for healing a client. It is often worthwhile to expand the psychic healing session on an individual to the situations they are involved with; the reason being that the healer offers them a healing gift. The client accepts the gift of healing, but then goes back to the situation and is bombarded with negative energies that re-create the illness or emotional problems.

 

MEDITATION IN ACTION:

You will need about 15 to 30 minutes of privacy. Before starting this exercise, find a quiet place, sit or lie comfortably with your back in a good posture.

Close your eyes. Affirm calmly that,

I am surrounded, permeated, and cleansed with white, blue, and silver energies; only truth and good can come to me, go from me, come through me, or stay with me. All that touches me and all that I share with others is for my good, their good, and the good of all concerned.”  

 

Let anything that is stressing you rise to the surface of your thoughts. Think about it for just a few seconds, then watch it dispassionately float away, as if it is happening to someone else - let it go. Consciously relax your shoulders, arms and legs; if you feel any tightness anywhere in your body, consciously relax it.

 

Now, slowly exhale through your nose, emptying your lungs to make room for a new supply of cleansing air. Take a deep breath, imagine you are filling your abdomen first and then your chest. Do not strain. Exhale slowly through your mouth.   REPEAT slow deep breaths - relaxing deeper with each breath. The important thing is to breathe in deeply and regularly with a uniform rhythm. To relax even deeper, imagine you are at the top of a flight of seven stairs inside a beautiful spa or temple; with each deep cleansing exhalation, step down one stair and feel your body and mind relax even more and your thoughts release even more of your attachments to the world. Know that with each rhythmic cleansing breath, you feel lighter and less burdened and your mind opens up to its highest level of relaxed clarity.

 

You can feel the Light source of protection, healing, and pure energy of the universe and the stars and allow it to bathe and be integrated into your AURA and body. Accepting the protective and healing powers of the universal energies as they cleanse and strengthen your Aura and your body; you mentally affirm,

“I am filled with the primal power that brings everything into being.

I breathe out obstacles to my energy’s flow. I breathe out the dark shadows of the past. I breathe in the infinite promise of a new life. I am filled with the universal faith in the goodness of all things.”

 

Visualize a beautiful spa or temple where you are relaxed and at peace with yourself and the universe (NOTE: I use spa or temple, but the point is to visualize a place that you find peaceful and calming; e.g., it can be your own living room or the beach).  Inside this spa or temple is a raised platform with a gorgeous basket both the platform and the basket radiate the most beautiful energies you’ve ever seen. You know on a spirit level that this is a dais and basket for healing.

 

NOTE: You may know the intended subject of the healing or it may be someone who has been referred to you or your meditation group. You may have an actual visual image (like a mental picture) of the subject, but you may only have a name or just a first name; you can work with any of these sources. The Universe and your spirit-being know how to find the subject of the healing – your spirit-being is actually seeking the spirit-being of the intended client based on their spirit-being vibration, therefore, a single first or last name is all that is needed. It is always appropriate to include the client's situation, (e.g., the client is being abused by her father or the person has been laid off and their bills are mounting) in the healing basket. You do not need to know the details; simply state that “any and all factors and forces impacting on the client be included in this healing basket.”

By being inclusive, you do not have to be nosey; some people ask for help, but are unwilling to describe what kind of negative situation they are dealing with. Also, by being inclusive, you are including medical doctors and hospitals, or other healers in the healing process (for the good of all concerned).

 

As an example, a friend is diagnosed with advanced stage cervical cancer. You can put her in the healing basket, alone. But the fact is she needs the support of others, the best medical help, someone who has a positive attitude, someone to remind her to take her medications; and someone to hold her when she is puking from any treatments. You have placed her in the healing basket. BUT have you also taken into consideration that her care giver, say her 86 year old husband who is trying to be cheerful and help lift her out of the shower and help her get dressed and feed her, needs help but doesn't want to ask a nurse or some paid stranger to do his family service. Expand the healing basket!

 

Affirm: “I am light, I am peace, I am love.”

Then visualize and verbally place the name of the individual (see NOTE above) and state that any factors and forces impacting on the individual be included in the healing basket. Invoke the universal healing energies through your spirit-being as you channel white, blue, and gold energies at the basket with the palms of your hands.  That means point your palms at the basket and visualize the white, blue, and gold energies entering the basket and the client.  Then imagine that any negative situational vibrations that are creating this problem also be included in the basket and healed. (NOTE: You can put in any number of clients or situations in the healing basket. They do not have to be related to each other.) After you have reached the final healing client, it is time to move to the releasing stage.

 

Releasing:  Now, visualize the healing basket rising into the Heavens and you release the gift of healing to the intended client; their family, the situation(s) that surrounds them, and all parties involved.

 

Now thank the universe for being available for this healing session and release all the forces of the universe allowing them to return to their places of balance. 

 

It is time for you to leave the spa or temple (or the place you have chosen). Visualize yourself returning to the seven steps that you will now climb. As you take each step up, you will become more alert to your world. The difference, however, is that you will carry with you the cleansing healing of meditation and deep rhythmic breathing and the wisdom of your spirit-being.

Affirm one more time: “I am peace, I am light, I am love!”

 

NOTE: You do not have to follow the methodology verbatim. Read it several times and allow yourself to paraphrase it – key concepts are underlined. If you become a robot, you get less benefit than if you enjoy it and give yourself permission to see this as an opportunity to celebrate life.
